Geomechanics for CCS

Better understanding of storage capacity, injectivity and long-term effects of the stored CO₂ is a must for establishing commercial storage operations. We investigate the mechanical and physical properties of the subsurface and the implications for the monitoring of the near-well area, the whole reservoir and the overburden.
