A Knowledge Graph (KG) is a network of interconnected nodes, each representing a resource, and edges denoting relationships between these resources. This structure allows for a good representation of knowledge, which is more flexible and extensible than traditional database models.
Semantic technologies such as Resource Description Framework (RDF) and SPARQL, that are defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), gives us a standardised way to represent information in a machine-friendly format, integrate information from different sources, and query the interconnected knowledge.
