Flux Injector
A flux feeder used in aluminium castings is an automated machine that purges a flux powder or granules into molten aluminium to clean the melt, remove hydrogen, and improve casting quality.
Both Argon (Ar) or Nitrogen (N2) can be used as carrier gas. The load cell in the device helps the flux to be fed in known quantities varying from 1 kg/min up to 8 kg/min. Tank capacity of 70 kg of flux.
Field of use
Melt treatment and cleaning of molten aluminium.
